 The Bobcat Ski Center is located on Mt. Pisgah in Andes, New York is a ski area for the more advanced skier. With only 2 of their 19 trails designed for the beginner, this isn't exactly the place you'd want to head to for your first day on the slopes. But for those of you who are looking for some serious adventure on the East Coast, look no further than Bobcat. They are only open on the weekends from 9am - 4pm, so you'll have to capitalize on the relatively small amount of time you can spend on these treacherous slopes.
Telemark skiing and snowshoeing is also popular, with numerous areas to go and explore on your own or with friends.
