 Ski Campgraw is a small family-friendly resort with the distinction of being the closest ski area to New York City (just 20 miles away). A simply wonderful place to take the family for a full-on blast of a weekend. Perfect for the experienced slope-runner and for the first-timer as well, as the Campgaw Ski and Board School will happily show you the ropes (or the slopes, as it would be). The School also offers a SKIWEE course and private lessons. They host night skiing until 10pm most nights and offer snow tubing and a terrain park with a half pipe. Great rates on all tickets, plus some deals on packages and multi-day passes.
The Snowtubing area has six chutes that stretch for 800 feet and is a great way to just relax and slide around after burning up your quads on the downhills.
