 This year Scaly Mountain is only offering snow tubing,
which makes it a great place to bring the kids or for those of
you who are kids at heart. Easy in and out parking area as well
as easy access to slopes and lodge. The lodge too, can serve as an
cozy, warm observation deck to keep an eye on the tubers closest to your heart.
UPDATE (11/18/05): Spoke with Gene from Scaly Mountain today and he tells me that this winter season they'll only be doing the snow tubes, but there's a good chance of some 'surprises' next year. He says they're having some website troubles currently, but that the new site will be www.scalymtslopes.com and to keep checking back! He also wanted me to get the news out that they expect a LOT of snow this year, they have a LOT of tubes, and they will be open the day after Christmas! |
