 Sugar Mountain Resort is a fantastic resort located on, if you can believe it, Sugar Mountain. Sugar has some of the best grooming routines, staff and equipment to guarantee powder. Also the narrow slopes with a high tree canopy keep the slope soft all day long. Several well sculpted runs keep the technical skier busy. Fast lifts get you up one of the longest runtimes on the East coast quickly.
Sugar also has a popular snowboard terrain park halfway up the mountain worth visiting. Guided Snowshoe tours will take you through peaceful fields and up tough mountain passes. The Snowtubing area features 700ft runs with their own lifts and snowmaking ability. Over 100 acres are open seven nights a week until 10pm.
