 Great personality. If you are anywhere near Boone, bring a snowboard and go to Appalachian Ski Mountain. This slope is a lot of fun. Great vibe too with some talented tricksters always on the slopes. You will have a blast here regardless of your age. Not the longest runs in the East, but still a great place. Their longest run has some great turns and drops as well as high turn walls which are always fun. Super cool staff run this lift, somebody is doing something right here and it really shows. I should mention how cool it is to be able to ski straight to the chairlift with no line, no poles, no walking. Endless effortless skiing, you'll be looping all day. Hands down the best terrain park in the South.
