 Brand new in 2003 with a longest run of 2.8 miles. Moonlight Basin Ski Resort is a year-round resort offering an impressive near 200 acres of skiable terrain. Adjacent to Big Sky Resort, Moonight now offers a combo ticket granting access to both resorts for the 2005-2006 Winter Ski season yielding a record-breaking six mile long ski run. The two resorts share the same mountain – Lone Peak, roughly an hour from Bozeman. The resorts even shared several trails and a lift in the past. But previously, it was necessary to purchase a ticket or season pass from each if you wanted to ski them both. With over 400 inches of snowfall per year and ancient conifers reaching for the sky.
