 Aptly named, America's Fresh Water Resort, The Homestead is a year-round recreation facility on the shores of Lake Michigan. Skiing and snowboarding with a perfect view of Lake Michigan. The Winter season from mid December to mid March. Great beech club atmosphere but with skis in the Winter. Cafe Manitou is a great dining experience right on the Lake. The resort has a full-service spa and recreation are, more rental units than you can shake a stick at with a heavy meeting center operation. Stony Brook Lodge services golfers in the Summer and skiers in the Winter. The ski area is a small part of a large place to have a lot of fun. If you're new to skiing and just getting started or wish to improve your skiing or snowboarding skills, their's a Lifetime Skills Learning Center with Michigan's only Magic Carpet lift system.
