 Sugarloaf/USA, near Kingfield, is Maine's above-treeline skiing mecca. Total miles according to sugarloaf is 55.56 miles of skiing! Sugarloaf just bought a Zaugg Pipe Monster which means, you guessed it a Superpipe for the 2005-2006 Winter ski Season. Great live music at The Widowmaker throughout the season (including The Samples and Big Head Todd and the Monsters). Four One-Thousand-Foot chutes will keep ya zoomin' in the Turbo Tubing area.
The Antigravity and Recreation Center at the base of Sugarloaf is a 20,000-square foot facility that boasts Maine's largest indoor skate bowl and a huge skate park. Come on in and hop in a game of Ultimate Frisbee... seems like it's more popular than skiing sometimes! |
