The 2005-2006 Winter ski season is also Wisp's 50 year anniversary. As of October 28, 2005 there is already snow on the ground. With several black-diamond slopes to challenge you, Wisp Resort is still a great destination for the entire family. Night skiing is a big event and this year they have expanded their trails. Snowboard friendly with a terrain park, rails and boxes (from 5 feet all the way to a 40-foot MONSTER) and a groomed half-pipe.
At the Bear Creek Snowtubing Park, you can slide down the nine chutes over 750 feet and then hop right back on the towbar for another round.
The 32 slopes at Wisp are set evenly across the field of difficulty... something for everyone:
Beginner - 31%
Intermediate - 41%
Expert - 28% |
