 Located 28 just miles south of Hanson and 160 miles southeast of Boise, Magic Mountain is a tiny park with a lot to offer. Includes a cross-country ski park on site, and a terrain park for riding and skiing. Snowboard and ski friendly, Magic Mountain offers day skiing for the whole family. Magic is a day skiing only area. Lifts close at 4pm. Snowboarders are always welcome with leases. Magic hosts a modest terrain park too with some furniture mostly made of snow. Ski terrain difficulty as follows: Beginner 25%, Intermediate 25%, Advanced: 20%, and Expert 30%. A cross-country nordic ski center is close by offering almost 30 kilometers of trail. Winter ski season runs early December to the beginning of March. Over 200 inches of snowfall a year allow Magic to offer Cat skiing as well during good snow conditions. Their longest ski run is just under a mile and a half.
