 Located just 16-miles from downtown Boise, Idaho. Including a nordic trail center and a terrain park, snow tubing and night skiing sessions. Bogus sits across three sperate peaks and a long connecting ridge line. Primarily north-facing runs but their main peak, Shafer Butte, has 360 exposure and the south-face slopes are pure sunshine for the entire day. Excellent nordic adventures await along the ridge which encircles the wide perimeter of the park through Pine Creek. Two distinct atmospheres from two lodges give familes a place to be together and young couples a chance to get away from it all. Several double-black diamond runs await your bravery and Bogus weighs in as a great all-around resort for Winter. Ski terrain difficulty ranking: 22% Easiest, 45% Intermediate, and 33% Advanced Intermediate to Advanced.
