Breckenridge Ski Resort in Colorado is a monster. Over 3000 feet of vertical drop means serious snow nookie! Enough bowls to fill 700 acres of the freshest white stuff on the planet. You could easily seperate Brek into six ski resorts and each would have their own mountain view and custom tree-lined ridge lines to rivel each other. The town itself lives for your visit with over 100 restaurants and more shops than i can mention here. They offer day skiing with the longest run, the Four O-Clock, weighing in at 3.5 miles. Sporting two super chairs both six passenger lifts and seven high-speed quads. This resort means business. They are soon to unveil the highest lift in North America. Six total terrain parks to choose from including the infamous Freeway Terrain Park with well over 25 acres of terrain park. And of course, a monster super pipe, 18 feet tall, 400 feet long. Terrain difficulty: Easiest 15%, More Difficult 33%, Most Difficult 20%, and Expert 32%. How about a 55 degree pitch? Brek's got it in Lake Chutes.

Not my favorite - Icy, crowded, sad little village at bottom, and odd runs that are flat or even slightly uphill with no warning. Definately not my favorite resort in the area, although perhaps on a better powder day during the week it might have been better. :yuck:
