 Big, open and uncrowded, Crested Butte is the perfect Colorado ski town. Fifteen chair lifts service 2,700 feet of vertical drop. The Butte's terrain park and hosts the Superpipe for aspiring and experienced freestylers. In the middle of new owners who have sunk $57.3 million into resort improvements. Not sure when they'll be done but they are working on it as we speak. The mountain is utterly unreal with the Peak run that will put pee in your pants dumping into Upper Peel.
