HeavenlyHow to describe Lake Tahoe's aptly named Heavenly. The name fits that's for sure. Whether your eyes crave snowcapped mountains or the calmness of water from Lake Tahoe, Heavenly fits the bill. The 2005 season, Heavenly is celebrating 50 years as a resort. They celebrated with a $200 million makeover. Scheduled to open for the 2005-06 Winter season on November 18, 2005.

With an unprecendented longest run of 5.5 miles and a wide array of terrain options for any rider/skier. Terrain difficulty is as follows: Beginner 20%, Intermediate 45%, and Expert/Advanced 35%. As a full season resort, you also get a ton of extra activities and amenities only the resort pros of vail know how to deliver. Heavenly is also home to four terrain parks: the beginner terrain park on Groove in CA, the intermediate park on Cascade in CA, and the expert park on High Roller in CA. The Superpipe, High Roller, is located on lower High Roller in CA. They also host the Rail Yard, a major jibber's dream!

  • I love heavenly - The only reason to go, as far as I'm concerned is the parks here. Just sick. so much variety and fun man with all the jumps and rails. I've been all over Colorado and I've never seen this varitey of stuff to trick off.
