Mammoth MountainHailed as Transworld Snowboarding's Best Overall Resort in North America for 2006. Mammoth Mountain is always a pleasure. Opening day is Nov 10, 2005. Mammoth Mountain boasts one of the longest seasons in the country, extending from November until June. Mammoth Mountain Resort, located in Central California, calls itself California's favorite. Located on the Eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range in California. Mammoth is a four-season resort with world class activities, lodging, amenities and services.

Three seperate terrain trails extend the entire mountain along three seperate spines. Panorama Upper, the eight passenger Gondola offers a peak view of the entire mountain which makes the ride up as fun as the ride down. Simply perfect blend of national forest and humanity. Philippe's Run, extremely difficult offers the best views but don't look now, your heading down one big hill. Behind Mammoth are three hidden runs on Hemlock Ridge perfect for some quiet skiing.
