Big Bear Lake, nestled in the San Bernardino, California National Forest. Big Bear Mountain Resorts includes both Southern California's Snow Summit Resort, and the all-mountain freestyle park, Bear Mountain. Together, one lift ticket serves both resorts serving over 400 acres of developed terrain. Snow Summit and Bear Mountain offer plenty of terrain for all ability levels of skiers and snowboarders.
The Summit terrain is primarily dedicated to the intermediate rider while still leaving room for the experts. Summit's slopes break down as: 10% First Time Beginner, 25% Low Intermediate, 40% Intermediate, and 25% Advanced. Summit's longest run, Westridge, is 1.25 Miles. The halfpipe is 300 feet long with 12 foot walls and 55 feet across. The Park on Westridge is primarily devoted to jumping with plenty of jibs. Since the park's snow system is heavily relied on, the conditions are usually good regardless of snowfall.
