AL Alabama! Who would have thunk it but there is a Winter ski resort in Alabama. The Appalachian Mountains just tickle the northeast corner of Alabama and skiers find a haven at Cloudmont. Hands down, Cloudmont is the best skiing in the entire state of Alabama. In 2005, Georgia no longer hosts skiing. Can Alabama pick up the slack and grow? We hope 2005 will be a big year for Alabama.
