The word "epic" does not often appear in our snow reports. Now that I think of it, I'm not sure it has ever been used in the last ten years here when describing conditions. Winters have been called excellent, awesome, great or the best in years. Well, we are not in the midst of just another great winter. We are indeed experiencing an epic winter in my opinion. To have over 11 feet of snow at this point is out of the ordinary. To have the quality of the groomed surface that's out there today on the groomed runs is a beautiful thing. This winter is already one to remember. To remember though, you must have first had the experience. So this weekend, do just that - have the experience of Attitash in the winter of 2007-2008.

2008-2009 SEASON PASSES ON SALE MARCH 15, 2008

That date is right around the corner, so keep the season pass page handy. The launch of next winter's passes will include special prices for purchasing early and special deals as well, so be ready!

As if a great skiing and riding experience is not enough, we continue to offer additional excitement and entertainment just to seal the deal. The weekend starts Friday, February 29 with wall to wall snow and a great finish to the day with live music from Pie Boys Flat in Ptarmigan's Pub from 3pm - 6:30pm.

SATURDAY, MARCH 1

"Racers ready...GO!" That's what you hear when you line up in the start with three other skiers or riders right before the gate drops and you try for the holeshot and the inside line around the first panel. Skiercross/Ridercross is thrills and sometimes spills and is the event highlight for Saturday, March 1. The course is being built on Spillway and will send groups of racers over rollers, through berms, around gates, and off jumps in an extended track that will start from the bottom of Spillway pitch and run all the way to the base. Details on registration and times can be found on our events page. Don't miss it!

Apres ski (ercross) in Ptarmigan's Pub on Saturday features the return of The Amorphous Band from 3pm-6:30pm, which will be a great finish to an exciting day. See you on the couch!
