Bretton Woods struck the mother lode of the storm over the past few days, and has received over 22" of gorgeous champagne powder! And the flurries continue today! The trail count bounced from 18 to 36 overnight, and, with snow flurries continuing and snowmaking cranking away, it looks like another 13 more trails should be ready to open this weekend! The mountain crew is out there getting it all ready right now! Folks, it just doesn't get ANY better! It is skiing and riding dreamland, so come on up and find your stash this weekend! On a more savory note, and yet another reason to think champagne, if you tune in to NH Chronicle on WMUR-TV Channel 9 out of Manchester TONIGHT at 7:30 pm, you will learn a bit more about our very own Executive Chef, Edward Swetz, and what goes on behind the scenes here in the renowned Dining Room of our grand Mount Washington Hotel. The Mount Washington Hotel, along with the three other historic grand hotels of New Hampshire, have been invited to host a holiday dinner at the James Beard House in New York City next week.
