Open today from 12 p.m. until after dark

We can’t let 5 inches of new snow fall at Boreal and not work every minute to get the mountain open. Boreal fired up the snowmaking around 5 p.m. Sunday night to ready for a 12 p.m. opening today. We plan to roll the Gunnar’s Chair at noon and keep rolling until after dark (the late opening will allow our overnight snowmaking to set up). Gunnar’s will offer one intermediate trail for skiing/riding plus jib features for our park riders. We plan to also open our moving carpet for beginners. Operations are on a day to day basis as conditions permit. Please check our website, for up to the hour details. Hours of operation following Monday will be 9am to 4pm. Remember, it is early season conditions, ski and ride with caution.
