Things certainly are cheerful at Sipapu for the start of 2007! Looks like Santa definitely thinks we were good in 2006.The week before Christmas we had a storm that brought 31 inches of new snow to the mountain and total snow for December reached almost 70 inches! Combine Santa’s gift with the mountain staff’s diligent snow making efforts and Sipapu now has EVERY run OPEN! If you have been debating on whether or not to make a trip out at the start of the year, this would most definitely be the time. . Folks that have skied and boarded with us have been telling us how good the conditions are, and have been leaving as very ecstatic customers. Pack your goggles…. The forecast is for the snow to keep coming, with a chance of snow every few days. Parents be prepared, with conditions like these your kids are definitely going to be asking to come back to the mountain week after week. It’s always so much fun when we see folks make there last run of their trip and walk right off the slopes and into the reservations office to book another visit with us! A SUCCESSFUL START… As we previously mentioned, we had a very successful Christmas holiday.
