Monday March 20 2006

Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort is 100% open. Spring storms have produced over 32 inches of new snow last week and more snow is expected this week.

The season has been very dry with limited natural snow and warm temperatures. Recent storm activity has improved conditions and the triple chairlift, Chair 1, is now open. Resort guests are enjoying a base of nearly 40 inches on the main runs; its like Christmas in the Spring!

Spring is typically the best time to visit LVSSR with sunny and snowy days on the mountain. March is one of the wettest months in the region, bringing plenty of powder to enjoy!
