Vail Extends The Fun
In 43 years at Vail, there has never been as much snow as there has been this season. The numbers are well over 350 inches, or 29 feet. Because of record-setting conditions, Vail will keep more of the mountain, and its facilities open through April. From April 17-23, 18 lifts servicing the front side, Sun Up, Sun Down and China Bowls and Blue Sky Basin will be open. Restaurants on the mountain including Two Elk, Eagle's Nest Market Place, Mid-Vail, and Buffalo's will stay open through April 23. Adult and Children's Ski and Snowboard Schools in Vail Village, LionsHead, and Golden Peak will remain open until closing day.
