Sugar Mountain Opens for 2004/2005...
Sat Nov 27 we hit Sugar for their second day open. Sugar is sporting some new chairs for their lift. Slopes were mostly moist powder with about 10% corn snow on the flat spot. All-in-all a great day at Sugar.

SugarFest RailJam Snowboarding Event...
Saturday was Sugar's Burton Rail Jam Session/Competition. Basic and Open competitors hit the box at 11:00am. Meanwhile, three chefs were carving ice sculptures on the deck. Meanwhile, down the hill, over 100 pairs of demo ski's from 6 vendors loaned out test skis and boards to sugar lift ticket holders. Twas a glorious day indeed at Sugar Mountain, North Carolina. The Edge Of the World/Burton Rail Jam had it spills and overall smooth-styled routines from about 30 competitors that day.
